In this economy

I just posted a really good dialog over at http://101-marketing.blogspot.com/. Over here, however, let me tell you the inside scoop at infocard.cc.

All of us have been focused on the economy, shaking our heads and all. But let me suggest, you need to be focused on the 90 percent of the people who still have their jobs, and not the 10 percent who don't. People are still purchasing but their profile has changed. You can see what I had to say about that at the link above. Here, however, I want to add that you need to really understand integrated marketing. Also, you need understand the changing ways that your company can reach out and gain the trust of your future clients. Remember that 82 percent of the people who are looking for something start on the web. You need to have a good web presence and that isn't just a website folks. Oh, and as we are talking about websites, take a look at a new video I posted on the topic: http://101marketing.blip.tv/file/1953816/ .

I am Peter Brusso, CEO of Infocard.cc and I hope this helps you in your business. Good hunting...

Podcast shows and 1 blogging show

Infocard.cc has been to, well at least 3 shows this last years end. We went to the new media and podcast expo in Ontario Ca, the California State Bar association convention, and recently the blog world and new media expo in Las Vegas.

I have to tell you, as a marketing guy, it amazes me how much the experts don't know! I don't mean that in a bad way, just that things are changing so fast, and what worked last year might not be working now. It's a very dynamic world out there and new media is exploding.

Let me help my readers understand the big difference between old and new. Old is you talk to someone, like in a video or brochure. No feed back. New media is you talk to someone, but you get feedback plus interaction. You build a relationship with them....

Gone are the days of cold calling, hard selling, and other advertising techniques. Back from the dead is "relationship building", as the primary way of doing business. How do you do this, well new media is how. Between the concepts of blogging, podcasting, and a good website; you can become a great relationship builder. Thought leadership is how you establish yourself via new media, this leads to a trusted advisor position, then you move into a "recognized subject matter expert in your field".

I have been working on a strategy that I call the "Trinity".. and it consists of the relationship between blogging, podcasting, and a good SEO'ed website to drive your message high on the search engines plus your name everywhere... Viral that puppy.. So to speak.. (Anton that one is for you!)

I will post more along the way about this. I used this technique to drive one of my clients into stardom... http://employerhelpcast.blip.tv go take a look a very powerful use of podcasting!

More to come..

Infocard.cc is always finding ways to help companies do better. In that search of ways to have them rise above the noise, is to podcast. Our new site is up!

Ok.. slow on the uptake, but I redid the site in HTML! Yes... I did... I have found the only thing that works for search engines to find you is to have an HTML site. That doesn't mean that you can't use flash on the site, in the right way, but there you have it.

I am really excited at the possibilities to show off what infocard.cc can do for its clients via this video, flash, blip.tv, blogging, and podcasting. So please visit the site, as I'm still SEOing it too, for better visibility in the search engines.

I am really more intense now about marketing a good product. I still am finding that my clients have a great product but it sits on the kitchen table becuase others don't know about it. Now with the new web 2.0 and tools, you can really help to move things out accross a host of strategic platforms. More on this later.. but if you want a hint, listen to my interview with Jason Korman, which can be found here: http://www.infocard.cc/JasonGormanInterview.html

more later!
